Carrie leads creative direction and commercial writing for non-profits, local businesses, and international brands. 

Carrie has worked and studied filmmaking, writing, directing, marketing, photography, and creative direction in Lancaster, NYC, LA, and Washington DC. 

Her first feature film, Creturs, which she wrote, directed, and acts in alongside her husband and two children, is in post-production. She has written and produced several short films, a wide variety of commercial marketing campaigns, and won a Broadway writing award for the short film script The Hunter

A pandemic era-thriller, Creturs is about a young family learning to live with the stresses and isolated new normal of a pandemic lockdown, discovering that their new farm is home to more than just the four of them.

Indie filmmaking at its finest, Carrie and her family shot Creturs on their family farm in eight days and with limited crew during the novel coronavirus pandemic. Home became set: from props and costumes to found footage and scripted acting, real-life filters into everything in this film.
